When you join the Junior Optimist Club of Cornwall there are a bunch of different events and functions that you can be a part of. There are events that benefit children and teens straight up, but there are also different functions and regular events that we do behind the scenes, for example: “Adopt a Park” aka, Park Cleanup, twice a year we go out to Memorial Park to clean it up and make it look nice for the spring and the fall for Memorial Day. Recently we started hosting dances for teens, it is great to have different people coming out to help make sure the event runs smoothly.
